KISS could be using playback on reunion tour

KISS fans on YouTube and the band’s forums are accusing Paul Stanley of using playback on the “End of the Road” tour, and use as main argument a video recording the presentation in Vancouver, which can be seen below.

Among the comments in the video are things like “if you cannot do something and need masking, it’s time to stop”, “At 2:24 you can clearly see Paul saying ‘I Wanna Know’ but the microphone is out .. he needs to practice his dubbing more.”

“Of course everyone is watching to confirm if the dubbing is true, and unfortunately everyone comes away convinced of this, which is very sad and kind of a fraud, even more than they always promise to give the best to fans, in addition to detonate Ace and Peter for their lack of professionalism”.

And a tweet by radio broadcaster Eddie Trunk helped to believe in this theory, though he did not name it directly: “Immense respect and appreciation for any and all rock bands that still play and singing 100% live! It’s a thing that’s been dying and sad to see! I’ve always been getting videos from a great rock band clearly dubbing live”.

Kiss hasn’t yet talked about that, though in 2015 Gene Simmons said, “I see a problem if you charge a hundred dollars for a live show and the artist is using prerecorded bases.”

    1. Why are all the bitter haters still so obsessed with the band they became to hate !? Get a life people ! I don´t care much about the playback. These guys do an intense show several times a week while pushing 70. What DOES bother me is the fact that they destroyed other acts for needing the exact same ´help´ they do now. But that´s karma and they gotta deal with that now. I don´t think they care though since most shows sold VERY well and this tour is a success anyway.
